Why would anyone want to vacation anywhere else but in Missouri? We ask ourselves that question all the time. Were blessed with a gentle climate (well most of the time!) a panorama of natural wonders and wildlife, and a variety of good friends to keep life interesting. Here at Timber Ridge we're surrounded by 54,000 acres of woodlands, meadows and water. Northern Missouri's largest lake (Mark Twain Lake) offers 285 miles of shoreline. Wheterh you're in pursuit of that lunker largemouth bass or just a relaxing get-away weekend, we think you'll love a few days with us. Timber Ridge is quite, comfortable and affordable. It's a great place for singles or a family.
Walk our marked trail to Mark Twain Lake and throw a line in (we've got an on-site Bait & Tackle Shop, as well as a covered fish cleaning station with electricity and a freezer for your catch). Or take the kids to our stocked catch-and-release pond. We'll take photos of new anglers and even apply for a "First Fish Award" from the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Just relax poolside with a book of your own or one from our small library.
Take a hike on Lick Creek Trail - - a scenic 8-mile view of trees, birds and wildlife.
Unwind down in the game room. Play pool, ping-pong, or pinball. (Cody would love to compete with you on the side-by-side riding car games.)
Visit with our pet llamas - Powerstar, Dylan and Spook. They'll eat right out of your hand and they've even been known to share a few kisses.
Take the kids to our playground or play something yourself: basketball, horseshoes, washers, volley ball.
